The Old-Time Revue Tour 2026

Yeeeeeep - you know it folks: there’s nothing like early summertime in America. The flowers, the WEATHER, everyone’s outside again, AND - our favorite tours and concerts coming to Carnegie Hall for us to enjoy. And us here at the Hall are PUMPED to welcome the Blues Blue Dress queen Rhiannon Giddens to our stage this season — and trust us y’all, this night is gonna be one for the books - a once in a lifetime night for us to see! That’s cause on Friday, May 8th, 2026, the Grammy and Pulitzer-winning powerhouse is bringing her newest project, The Old-Time Revue (and subsequently a nationwide tour) to NYC for one of the most hyped jazz performances of the year coming right here. And she’s been hitting stops all across the country - hitting places like Austin, Boston, and Berkeley, Rhiannon’s mix of folk, Americana, and soul has graced stages and blessed fans everywhere she goes — and now, it’s finally our turn to see it live and in action.

Carnegie Hall has seen its fair share of iconic performances, but there’s something about this show that just feels different.Maybe it’s because Giddens’ music carries generations of stories — ones rooted in history, struggle, joy, and resilience — or maybe it’s because no one else performs with the same kind of truth she does. Whatever it is, we know that when those first notes echo through the Hall, it’s going to feel like something sacred. With a voice that moves effortlessly between classical finesse and raw, rootsy fire, and a banjo that can make time itself stand still, Rhiannon Giddens is the kind of artist who doesn’t just perform — she transforms.

So, if you DON’T know who Rhi G. is - let’s review, shall we? Back in 2005 when her career started, she co founded The Carolina Chocolate Drops to start off her career and gained tons of eyes and ears then. She eventually went solo, releasing major projects and songs like You’re the One and Freedom Highway, and cementing that her entire legacy would be built on musical ingenuity and boldness. In her songs, she’s told us about lost stories, forgotten voices in black history, and created new pathways for what Americana can sound like in the modern. Critics call her “a bridge between centuries of sound,” but for fans, she’s simply a musical truth-teller — and one who never misses.

So yeah New York….consider this your invitation to be part of that moment we’ll be raving about for years. Bring your friends, bring your hearts, and come ready to celebrate the roots of American music — Rhiannon Giddens style. We’ll see you on May 8th right here at Carnegie Hall, where history meets harmony, and every note feels like home. See ya soon, see ya right here.
